JOHANNESBURG - A man fell and died after hitching a ride in the undercarriage of a British Airways passenger plane travelling from Johannesburg to London on Thursday.
According to SkyNews, two men clung to the plane as it flew more than 12,000km from South Africa to Heathrow.
One of them fell and died as the British Airways Boeing 747 came in to land at round 09:30.
The victim fell onto the roof of a shop on London's High street.
SkyNews reports that the second victim, who was aged between 25 and 30, was found lying on top of an electrical box.
“British Airways described it as a very rare case and said it is working with police in London and Johannesburg to establish the facts,” reads the report.
