ADMINISTRATOR - TRADE MARK FOREIGN DEPARTMENT

Centurion based Legal firm seeks an Administrator in their Trade Mark Foreign department.

Key Performance areas:

Receive, check, prepare and file new Foreign Trade Mark applications from instruction sheets received (includes opening the files on the internal database)

Global filing programmes

Preparing supporting documents for filing of applications (including Powers of Attorney and Certificates of Inc etc and the Translation and/or Legalisation thereof, where required)

Drafting reports to client on - filing particulars, acceptance details, advertisement details, registration

Invoicing on all of the above

Updating and checking their internal data base cases at filing, acceptance, advertisements and registration

Withdrawals / Abandonments

Mark off / Put Away

Data Base Developments - Liaising with various personnel (as well as PHM's) regarding data base issues and regarding changes to country rules / laws and requirements. Identifying how the system must be fixed / changed. Testing cases once criteria copy is done

Assisting with updating Foreign Country information and Requirements databases on a regular basis

Miscellaneous Foreign queries and general secretarila duties

Minimum Requirements:

► Able to work independently
► Sense of responsibility
► Ability to prioritise
► Ability to take initiative and be accurate
► Proficient in MS Word and Typing (pre-requisite)
► Good command of the English language both verbal and written
