Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Email daily deposits to logistics and shops
  • Daily Bank Reconciliation (Pastel Bank manager)
  • Match supplier and debtor payments/receipts in cashbook
  • General journals / POS journals
  • Manage store rental contracts and schedules
  • Manage turnover rent charges
  • Check credit notes and audit trail - report if return procedures not followed
  • Review and Analyse all income statement GL accounts
  • Compile Statistics Report
  • Freight  % to sales report
  • Assist Financial Manager with ad-hoc reports and month end
  • Assist Financial Manager with yearly audit
  • Assist with  Accounts Supervisor’s duties when he/she is on leave

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • N6 Financial Management/Diploma in Accountancy
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Salary: R 12 000 – R 13 500 p/m
